The course provides general knowledge and skills of soap making. It involves 12 hours of learning, including the theory and creation of 4 different cold process (CP) soap and 2 different melt and pour (MP) soaps.  

The course covers basic skills of CP soap making to high-level skills of scenic soap making and would create 11 different levels of CP soap in total. 
The theory of production would go from shallower to deeper, including the understanding of functions of different plant oils, basic knowledge to use essential oils,  the way to compile CP soap recipe, understanding 50 natural oil/food and mica colorants and the precautions you may need to aware of in making soap.  Out of the 11 soaps, student will also gain chances to create three scenic soaps from design to production under the guidance of the instructor. 

The course comprehensively covers the production methods of natural man-made cleaning products that are used daily.  It includes liquid hot-process (HP) soap base, all-in-one liquid soap, bubble bath egg rolls, bathbombs, 11 basic to high-level CP soaps and MP gem stone.  The theory of production would go from shallower to deeper, including the understanding of functions of different plant oils, basic knowledge to use essential oils,  the way to compile CP soap recipe, understanding 50 natural oil/food and mica colorants, the precautions you may need to aware of in making soap and  design high level scenic soaps of your own. 

Students who attended Bath.er’s workshops or certificate courses must be aware of our all along concerns about environmental-friendliness that we do not use disposable plastic products in soap making process.    While people nowadays concern more about environmental friendliness, it may be difficult for people to know where to start or how to be more environmentally friendly in daily life.  ‘Net-zero’ seems to be a slogan or dream, but we wish you would join hands with us and get one-step closer to the dream.

《SCDA Zero Waste》 course not only focus on environmental friendliness, but also use vegan ingredients.  We hope to let you know more about the concepts of vegan and cruelty-free. This course will minimise over-packaging and introduce student with eco and vegan/cruelty-free cleaning products, and to contribute to environmental-friendliness and animal-protection.
